The Knights traveled from Los Angeles to San Diego to play their second game of the day against a fresh San Diego side. A little banged up from their earlier match, the Knights started off rather slow almost giving up an early goal in the opening five minutes. The Surf pressed forward, blasting a point blank shot to the left side of Knights Keeper, Philip Webb. After making the initial save to slow the ball, Philip bounced up to bat the ball away off the line.

The Knights were aggressively pressed by the fresh Surf team; only strong goal keeping combined with defensive efforts from Travis Norberg, Mitch Jenkins, Josh Copeland and rookie Brad Stoops in his first game with the Knights kept San Diego from opening the scoring. The Knights midfield and Forwards continued to make runs and press the Surf defense, but were not able to capitalize on their chances to score, which resulted in the first half ending 0-0.

The Knights faced a full squad in Garden Grove. Sluggish from the long trip, the Knights struggled to find form early in the match. Knights Goalkeeper, Philip Webb, was called into action early in the first quarter to make several saves to keep the 0-0 score line. Towards the end of the first quarter, the Knights made some adjustments in the back and found their form, regaining control in the midfield and pressing the LA net. As a result, Bernie's Bolts allowed the Knights to go on a power play and the Knights took advantage opening the scoring with a brilliant shot by Lucho Suarez to the lower right hand corner; 1-0 Knights. The Bolts answered back quickly, with a breaking run down the right side of the field, beating Knights defender Josh Copeland with a play off the wall and beating goalkeeper Philip Webb one on one to even the score.

Thank You to all that attended and supported the Las Vegas Knights tonight.

Rene Abrego, Manny Kouhaiz, Roberto Garcia and Lucho Suarez all found the back of the net once for the Knights tonight. Philip Webb had a very strong game in goal and made many brilliant saves. One save he caught directly in the nose. Ouch!! Josh and Jay both scored twice for Las Vegas. As advertised the Arizona Heat played very well. They brought a lot of new faces and were once again led by Greg Veatch and Davey Lopez. The Soderman's didn't travel with the Heat but the Knights will see plenty of them when they face them in Phoenix. Other Knights that contributed to this win were Mitch, Derik, Mazen, Joe, Rudy and Travis.
